Hi I’m Brooky a Year 7 student at Tamatea Intermediate.
I think the colours on the front cover of ‘The Tomo’ mean….
I think black means a dark point in the character's lives and/or that something very sad might happen.
I think white means at the end of everything, there is a bright part of the story or something happy that may cheer them up.
After reading the blurb of the story ‘The Tomo’ it seems very interesting and action packed. I think during the book there will always be something entertaining to keep everyone hooked in. What do you predict will happen in the text and why?
Hello Brooky, my name is Madz. I attend Tamatea Intermediate School and I am in Room 13. I like that you have shared that you found the blurb of the book interesting because I think the same. I agree with you when you said that the white could possibly be the end of something buy also think that perhaps something bad will happen. I think this because of the dark colours. I think that the story is going to be about Blue and a sink hole. Maybe someone or something may fall down it. How do you think that the Tomo came to be so deep and why?
